The last two years have seen us continuously grow the number of exciting locations available to slow travelling families seeking truly immersive experiences. It is now time to continue to forge a path for Boundless Education - the beating heart of Boundless Life. Introducing our Trailblazer Programme!
What is the Trailblazer Programme?
The Trailblazer Programme is our first step towards broadening the scope of Boundless Education to include an option for 13 and 14-year-olds. As you may know, we have been welcoming 1-12-year-olds since our inception, and the demand for a solution for teens has been high!

Sounds awesome! Where are we going?!
Wait - where did December go??
The programme will pause in December to allow families to head back home for the festive season or spend some time exploring the world independently.
Do families need to commit to the whole 9 months?
Yes. This is because the benefits of having a solid and consistent approach to academics becomes more significant at this age. A programme that spans an academic year provides the time required to establish a strong foundation for learning. Furthermore, development of social connections and a consistent peer group is much more important for this age group vs. our younger Explorers. They will have a whole 9 months to cultivate relationships both with each other and our lead educator.
That makes sense. What are the other benefits of teens collaborating over a longer period?
Peer collaboration in education is so important for young teens because it can help them to:
✅ Develop their academic skills.
When students work together on projects and academic tasks, they have the opportunity to learn from each other, share ideas, and provide feedback. This can help them build and enduring understanding and develop their critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
✅ Improve their social-emotional skills.
Peer collaboration can also help young teens to develop important social-emotional skills such as communication, teamwork, and conflict resolution. When students work together, they need to learn how to communicate effectively, listen to each other's ideas, and resolve any disagreements constructively. These skills are essential for success in both education and life.
✅ Increase their motivation and engagement.
Peer collaboration can also help to increase young teens' motivation and engagement in learning. When students are working together on a shared goal, they are more likely to be invested in the task and to put forth their best effort.
✅ Develop a sense of belonging.
Peer collaboration can also help develop a sense of belonging within the Boundless Education community. When students work together regularly, they get to know each other better and build relationships. This can help them to feel more connected to the experience and their peers.
We also have a child aged 6. Can they attend the Education Centre in each location whilst their teen sibling takes part in the Trailblazer Programme?
Absolutely - so long as there is space in each Education Centre for their age group. If you are in this position we recommend booking early to secure your Education Centre spots for your younger child.
If your teen is ready to become a pioneer in alternative education please use the form below to register for our webinar - October 25th 2023 - 11 am EST.
